friendly reminder that:
- you do not need to think someone is the scum of the earth to block them or mute them
- being blocked or muted does not mean you are a bad person in any way shape or form
- you have a right to surround yourself with people you enjoy, indeed, you have a right to happiness
- people liking you doesn't mean you are a good person
- you liking something or someone doesn't mean that that thing is good
it is a misconception I think a lot of people hold, and it's not truth.
human body weirdness, dysmorphia (+)
when i was younger i thought human bodies were unbearably gross, and it was partly why i kinda distanced myself from them altogether and dove headfirst into furry stuff
but i realized i was kinda hurting myself, so to stop hating my own body and appreciate human intimacy better, i've been unlearning it, warming up to their quirks n weirdness
nowadays i love and appreciate human bodies, and it's helped a lot and it just feels really nice to appreciate people inside and out. i still love furries ofc, but now they feel complimentary instead of an escape

It also courts the idea of plurality with the seraphs being possibly supernatural alters/headmates who can inhabit and be embodied in any receptive human vessel.
Tales of Zestiria's story is underrated. The subject matters involved are pretty deep, and delves into spiritualism and personal growth in the face of an unjust world, while finding and acting on praxis that makes things better.
The plot quite literally relies on Sorey's purity and innocence to work, it would not have had the same impact otherwise.

@FreyaManibrandr it is my best feature :>
looking for info, mutual aid, safety (long)
hey y'all, need some assistance that some of you are probably far better equipped to provide than I am.
I had a friend reach out last night letting me know that they're afraid of what's going on in the US right now, understandably.
They feel pretty isolated and alone in the place where they live.
The local political atmosphere is tense with violence from fash gangs and self-proclaimed leftists alike while any support for keeping people safe seems to be absent.
They're not sure how to go about keeping themselves safe from chaotic situations when they're forced to leave their house and don't have anyone local to them they feel they can rely on to help.
I am quite positive they're not the only ones feeling like this and in need of aid.
Do you have links to any literature that has helped you develop a strategy for such situations?
Have you come up with particular ways you've learned to deal with staying safe without a local support group that might carry over to others, particularly those in more rural areas?
Do you know of any state, regional, or national orgs that specifically provide outreach to members of marginalized groups who are in need of support resources?
I would appreciate any and all input you may have that would help ease their fears and provide them with some actions they can take to try and improve their current circumstances.
Thanks, y'all.
