if your employees aren't worth paying a living wage, it means the thing you're making them do is less productive than subsistence farming
your business isn't useful enough to exist

I love my soda vappy...
It represents a refusal to play by society's rules in the face of massive intersectional oppression, which is a whole lotta meaning packed into just five letters.
I don't think "gay" is a bad word. It's just too narrow for me, it doesn't leave room for my genderqueerness, and it's not radical enough. Plus, if I'm being honest, because this is the kind of queer I am: It's just not nearly as stylish, sexy and cool as "queer" is to me.
Plurality | Gender Identiry |
It's also interesting to see how Alyssa's gender identity is shaped by her world, because the whole idea of being gender casual is something that doesn't happen often in this world, particularly because of how often we had to fight for our own existence, both in terms of being alive, and recognized as our authentic selves.
Had Alyssa been raised in this world, she'd be gender-fluid, which tracks, since being gender casual is a form of fluidity.
Hey, you know this is something you have in common with Aluxes, Alyssa.
Alyssa: That appears to be the case. This makes a lot of sense considering xe was a part of Freyja before fae split.
ACAB
Rewatching Tron: Uprising for the aesthetic. They really want you to sympathize with Commander Paige as some kind of good cop, but seriously, how does she not see all the red flags among her peers and especially her boss?
She's a bad cop by reason of incompetence. She's on the side of a fascist state who supplies random violence and still tells herself this is somehow bringing "order" to the Grid.
bullying ment, bigotry
@dark_soil and that's exactly the kind of socialization school is meant to achieve, it seems 😬 I'd have been so proud if you were my kid or student
bullying ment, bigotry
@dark_soil it's always been wild to me that schools frown more on fighting back against bullies than against bullying, but your post crystallizes for me why that is: Bullying is a method of social control, a reassertion of power against people who are considered weaker or don't fit the mold in some way. Bullies don't detract from the real function of schools, they help it by excluding undesirables and putting them in their place.

The Israel Builders Association said Palestinian workers had observed the strike, with only 150 of the 65,000 Palestinian construction workers coming to work in Israel. There's a pronoun discovery moment while drawing this in Xe/Xem/Xer
Xer top functions as a crop top or a binder, depending on mood, as xe is genderfluid
Also, xe picked a change in last name, from Arche Kruz to Arche/Aluxes Salvador
Aluxes is...a lot more at peace now
Xe is actually very happy right now
