just generally speaking, even if someone is not autistic (or not running around with it in their bio)? it would be super nice if people would consider more often responding to mild social awkwardness with simple correction or ignoring the person rather than immediately jumping to Dunk Time
there are way too many interactions on Twitter etc. where both sides are flailing edgily at each other over ridiculous, petty assumed slights

PSA Pronouns
Remember that pronouns and gender are two separate things that, usually aligned, don't have to be aligned to each other. You could be masc-alined and use feminine-aligned pronouns, and vice versa.
Let's try not to police how we use our own pronouns. Our choice of pronouns are a decision that's ours and ours alone to make.
National Center for Transgender Equality Unionizes
From an email today, NCTE has organized under the Nonprofit Professional Employees' Union (NPEU):
NCTE's board unanimously approved the organization bid.
You know, I don’t think Apple gets enough credit for killing the idea of personal music collections
It’s completely indefensible that the iPhone will not let you add music to your music library from anywhere but the Apple Music Store unless you plug it into a laptop, but it’s something everyone who uses one eventually accepted as natural and reasonable and no longer thinks about
The phone used is the Xiaomi Poco M3, and I plan on upgrading to a Xiaomi 11T Pro soon to take advantage of that Snapdragon 888 chipset.
You know, the Jevil's theme from Deltarune fits what's going on in this world, to a tee.

Like, how do you tell a culture that is so used to weaponizing shunning and tossing people out, as a corruption of community self defense measures, that they're driving vulnerable people to suicide?
How do you pull them away from that cop-like judgemental attitude, and towards community-building measures that encourage responsibility and growth?
The culture of disposability is very much alive in online leftist spaces, and until it goes away and decolonized itself, I will always feel like an outsider.
And to be honest, I don't know how to break this culture on here. Telling people they're acting white only causes them to double down and focus on their own judgement of others, which is super white.
And let me tell you, there are a lot of dark empaths in public social media spaces, and on here, a lot of them are instance admins.
After the Seattle postfurry scene tried to silence and erase me for speaking up about what happened to my GF on here. I've never really felt welcome here.
It also doesn't help that two of the biggest reasons I got on here in the past, which is Snouts and PlayVicious, is gone, driven out by dark empaths with a lot of clout.
I've been picking around in smaller groups around telegram and discord, and the difference is night and day. Without the overarching need to grind out social currency in the public discourse, there is a far lower stranglehold over our communities that a lot of the dark empaths that predate on our vulnerable have.
