@mawr @jk so... yes, but... your lack of speed is directly proportional to your defense. A fast system is a simple and predictable system and I can control it. Easily.

A lot of this speed loss is an effort to protect you

Remember when "Obama tapped trumps phones"?

@mawr @jk lets go back to win2k. It'll certainly make my life better

morning grumbling, dissonance

@Oneironott that sounds really nice <3

Back to work again... Surf fantasy life is over for the year... maybe one more day trip? I hope.

my ambient trance eccojam ep and self-care helper

inspired by lorenzo senni's "rave voyeurism" concept, vaporwave critiques of neoliberal living space, and the legacy of the chillout room in 90's rave culture.

towards a trance against spectacle, the reclaming of lost utopian futures, and the horzontalization and reexcitement of dance music culture, a popular avant-garde.

pls listen! and buy it if u can

One thing I've learned by going out and interacting with the "unwashed masses" (at least "millenials"):

* Very few people have heard of 4chan; the few who have, think it's full of people rejected by society for being assholes

* I find surprisingly few Twitter users, and they all say they don't use it because it's full of bullying, harassment, and Nazis

* Everyone seems to hate facebook these days because it's full of assholes

* Society hasn't gone "soft," the assholes have gone "hard"

@literorrery I don't. I just remembered we'd talked about this previously and wanted to note that I'd finally read something definitive on it from a legit source. (Mark bray's book antifa which is a historical study as well as handbook)

@literorrery a book I just read suggested the red / black in front or back of a an antifa' group logo suggests whether the group considers Marxism to be their guiding principle or anarchism

@ElectricKeet @literorrery @bea you can for sure enjoy the arcades along the boardwalk! :)

@Fuego Buy flood insurance and let's enjoy America's last generation with beach days and arcade nights.

@bea okay. That's what robots are for. We can have those things without 50 hours a week. Lots of people wormy hat much or more and DONT get those things

Seriously though. Why are we slaving away like this? Why is the work week like 50 hours when it only takes you a couple hours a day to subsist hunting and gathering... we have robots for squeaks sake

What if I quit my job, bought an arcade on the Hampton beach boardwalk, bought up the busted machines from other arcades and fixed them myself and surfed every day?
