@packbat @troodon The closest I’ve come to an inference model anyone with a computer can use, as a professional in this field:
1. Select a classifier (I use naive Bayes)
2. Weight sources by how well they predict observable reality over time
3. Prune low-quality sources
That social media doesn’t do this should be a clue whose horse they’re backing.

Losing the fifth digit really helps (since four digits is correct), and I’m glad it still looks good with the woven covering.
It’s also... way more breathable than the faux-leather glove.

@chr From experience: work private messenger if that’s a thing. If not, slipping them a business card with contact info also works, since it’s discrete and lets them choose whether to maintain work-life separation.
too many tacos update
When Grubhub cancelled one of the duplicate orders, the delivery driver had already collected them and was left in the lurch. I paid them the difference, and they were incredibly relieved.
I now have way too many tacos.

@lugh Thankfully, it seems they did manage to cancel one of the erroneous orders after support told me they couldn’t. But yeah, it’s kind of a pricy mistake to have fall on the customer!

Accidentally ended up with $90 of Taco Bell instead of $30 because their app developers CSSed an upgrade banner over their ordering page, and it broke order tracking.
This is doubly funny to me when (also as full disclosure), I’ve looked at that code before and have a fair idea of why it broke. 🙃

Age of Wonders 3 is free on Humble atm! It's probably my favourite 4X, and has a good balance of "Heroes of Might & Magic mixed with Civilisation" kinda gameplay.
