Anyway, sharing this mostly for introverts having trouble sharing this and extroverted folks who care a ton and fail to understand why their introverted friend is sad and avoiding attention on their birthday.
Proper care and feeding of your introvert is important, and what may have no cost and be easy for you may be different. Doing your best to take the load off and live their experience is so, so valuable. 💜

Today's my hatchday. It's on the balance been positive, but I kind of want to package a specific anxiety from it that family (no one here) have flared up unintentionally, in case it helps other introverted folks like me struggle to communciate this to well-meaning people they love.
I like the attention, I love the well wishes, and I love being recognized on my special day, but please don't make social obligations for me that I am expected to meet. I just want to relax and vibe.

@Dex (Even if it seems kind of insubstantial in hindsight or after suspension of disbelief wears off: being the small friend in VR, having paws and a tail in VR, and the general euphoria of being the shape and size you want to be is very very very very good.)

@Dex (Which will likely be installing VRCFury and GoGo Loco into your project space, which are btw surprisingly simple and mostly drag-and-drop. They're great.
But because we no longer have mod support, requires you to manually toggle OSC or recalibrate to force an avatar scale update manually. It's not 100% smooth until they support it natively, but doable as an effect with some manual controller clicky.)

Like, been watching videos of retrocomputers being expanded. Using a raspberry pi to expand an amiga, or an apple 2.
The expansion alone being more powerful in many ways than the original.
Perhaps some robot that has reached the end of possible expansion, architecture abandoned for others, memory and software tha makes them themselves not easily portable. Formats dying.
But still finding ways to *be*
