Honestly, the most useful thing to me about this year’s AGDQ is seeing how different runners cope with and communicate their anxiety during their runs, and watching the crowd be entirely supportive of that.

Huh. TIL, the congressional representative of my district just became chairman of the House Armed Services committee, and he’s doing the nightly news circuit explaining how Congress is going to react 45’s misuse of the military and emergency powers.
That’s going to be interesting to watch over the next few days.

went to the local animal shelter today to meet some cats. this one old sweetie named lucy came over and sat on my leg and let me pet her, purring the whole time! some people say dragons are just big scaly cats, but i think that cats are just small, fuzzy dragons.
