@KitsuneAlicia@octodon.social A motion I now use is substituting bullet jump for quick melee strike (which I’d been using previously for equipment-locked sorties). It’s taken some getting used to, but it prevents zoom from being taken away from snipers or inadvertently homing ground slamming.

It’s especially weird right now with PC on melee 3.0 and console 2.0, since I keep forgetting they also changed how the next weapon key and blocking work.

TFW going through your own old documentation from 3-5 years ago, and your brain remembers exactly what media you were reading or listening to when writing the prose.

@Soreth If it’s any consolation, the “we talked it out and they listened/mutual understanding was reached” dream seems to be... not uncommon? I’ve had it for different people and different events.

It seems to be one of the ways that trauma heals.

tl;dr: using only Google, visit a public place and see just how many folks you can de-anonymize, as a lesson in how to protect oneself (and in this case, legal clients) from the same process.

Someone is using Kass as their character model in this Wind Waker Randomizer race. The fact someone went through the effort of adding that to this older game has improved my mood significantly.

I fit that description, and I know several other folks that do, too.

However, there’s also sustained countercultures of activists that are tech-literate, and those might be folks worth talking to?)

@deltaphor Not too jaded, no. Since once it hits server logs, archive.org, or someone else’s scraper, it can be retained indefinitely.

I wonder if it’s worth sharing some of the older stuff about how trust makes online interactions work, both positively and negatively? A lot of newer folks have come online since those were circulated.
