Food

Zebra cakes are disgusting frosted sponge cakes that taste like sugared wax coating a dry sponge, but I just can't get enough of the them for some reason. I used to eat these things a LOT. And every now and then I get a craving for them. Darndest thing.

@anthracite Anyone can slap a sticker or vinyl on a computer case or laptop shell. Complete disassembly to ensure each part gets painted and patterns overlapping properly is a labor of love.

I hate when you get the feeling like there's something important coming up that you need to do, but damned if you can remember what the fuck it was. Why do I feel like my Saturday is going to be a busy one? I can't remember having anything planned, yet here I am wondering what the fuck I was supposed to do and whether or not I'll remember in time.

@pearshapes Tom just wanted to hot rod in his pimped out ride, and to hell with functionality!

@CryptidCuffs@puppy.place Sea Monsters are pretty great :D

Dragon at a resturant eating a big challange burger like a normal burger

and she's there with all her kobolds who are eating sliders

@Felthry That's.. pretty surprising actually. Like yeah some of them can have a bit of a bite to them, but uh, they are probably one of the LEAST spicy foods I've ever consumed that is supposedly spicy

@Felthry It probably does work on the assumption that people are going to know that bacon comes from pork, but uh... there are a LOT of people who do not understand where various meat products actually come from that many of us think is obvious.

re: Ph (---)

@FreyaManibrandr Ick, that definitely does not sound like fun at all D: Glad you're doing better at least; hopefully it won't take too long to fully recover!

@jacel Oh yeah I don't do the remote play together (most of my games are either single player or offer online multiplayer as well as (sometimes) couch co-op stuff, but I do think that is a genius idea. I was talking the native streaming so I can play my games when away from the desktop, which is usually when I'm at a hotel. Generally when I'm at home I'm able to access the desktop, so that's never an issue

@jacel Nice! So the only inhibitor will be my internet connection at wherever I happen to be (and whether or not my home wifi is acting up, but as long as my ISP can connect to the gateway I can actually reboot that remotely if necessary)

@tsunderdog At least you don't have to destroy the old cage like you would cockatoos; hopefully it won't take too long for them to accept their new home though

Food

Oops, bought a jar of peanut butter for sandwiches, but uh... kind of maybe ate a good amount of it with a spoon instead.
...should have enough to last me a couple more days at least.

Second dose obtained! Fully vaccinated in 2 weeks! :D

@masklayer I get the same problem a lot. I actually had to buy a window fan to help (and on cool days it REALLY helps, by a good 15 degrees)

I wonder if Steam remote play would allow me to play my graphic intensive games on a laptop that is nowhere near as powerful as my desktop? Probably would, since my desktop would be doing all the heavy work and my laptop is just streaming the video and sending inputs remotely?

At least I think they're just minor when I'm not running them in opposite directions. Not sure if exhausting would be problematic with the furnace air return, potentially sucking air in through that. Anyway, they're kind of loud, especially when used with my blower fan that just blows air onto my bed. But I sleep so damn well when they're running. No joke. It's just white noise for me, and I can tune it out easily. Probably thanks to my ADHD

I bought a window fan! Because even with my desktop off and the heater damper to the room fully closed it can hit 75+ in my bedroom. With the PC on? 80+. So yeah, window fan was an absolute necessity if I didn't want to roast in my sleep. It's got independently operating motors too, so I can blow in, vent out, or exchange. Venting seems to be good at maintaining around 70 on a cool day. Blowing in cools the room even further! Does cause some minor pressure issues though.

Sour cream is just a tangy pudding you can mix with other foods to make them taste better
