Admittedly, the photo is from an angle where you can only tell it’s Jacel if you specifically know the photo history or know Jacel very well from a specific camera angle.

@KawaSeadrake In my random “I search Google Scholar for stuff almost reflexively” habit I discovered that GRS has a 55%+ complication rate, a decent percentage of which are blood clots but by no means all. Your experience is *not* especially an outlier.

You were given appropriate medical attention in a timely manner, preventing actual injury. “Could have been permanently harmed” isn’t grounds for a tort claim, only “was”. Your experience was terrible and not anything that should have happened, but within bounds of law. :(

My “gentle reintroduction” to DOTA after several weeks of not playing apparently involves wining a thoroughly one-sided stomp as Underlord in Turbo Mode. Turbo Mode isn’t real DOTA but it gets rid of most of the queue anxiety that even Unranked produces.
