Little things that you can do for self care
- Get a little bottle of hand moisturizer or hand lotion and use it once a day
- Find 15-30 minutes in your day and just _walk_. Put your phone away and admire the way the world around you looks.
- It's okay to go buy yourself chocolate. Get one of the fancy bars and savor every bite. <3
Goals
Oh right, also:
- Don’t eat all of @emanate’s jelly beans.
That’s a very admirable goal.
Fall things that I like to do:
- Drive down to Portland
- Walk in parks and watch the leaves
- Listen to folk-y music (seriously my playlist has been full of Mumford and Sons style music lately)
- Hug cuties. <3
- Wrap myself in nice warm clothing and revel in the cold outside
- Fires in fireplaces! <3 <3

Have a cute Kobold
Take care of yourself today.
The world can be a scary, frightening, and cruel place. I know that.
If you're scared or hurting, if you're upset or afraid, I see you. Your feelings are real. Your emotions are valid. You matter. You make a difference in the world just by being here, by living, by dreaming, by being in the world. Your presence shapes the world around you, even if you can't always see how.
Always move towards the best and truest you, and trust that others see the work you're doing.
Hey, do what you need to do to stay safe and warm and good today. You matter, your health (physical and mental) and safety matter. Some quick reminders:
- try to keep a snack on hand
- make sure you eat real food too
- stay hydrated
- make sure you get enough sleep
- try to take a walk outside if you can

Thoughts about the look I present
Wearing tights (or in today's case socks that extend past the line of my skirt) definitely helps with feeling less awkward out in public. I don't feel like I'm exposed.
The belt helps too - I don't feel like I'm venturing forth into the world with none of the things I'm used to carrying on me (keys, wallet, phone).
All of these things feel good and _right_. And I'm grateful for those who have helped me understand this part of me.
I'm gonna try to write and do a number of other things this afternoon, brain cooperating of course. I should try to make progress where I can, but right now my brain is sitting here going "oh no, you've got energy but we're not going to let you remember what you were supposed to be working on or focus on the things you can remember." :P
Today's been nice so far. Went out in a new skirt and belt I picked up yesterday. Received a number of pleasant comments and am feeling good about my choices. I think the best comments were "you look a little bit like an elf" and "you look like you're dressed about how someone on venus would be." Both are quite flattering.
