Dude! Naxatras dropped a new album!

I was going to make a joke about splicing together the opening chase sequence in "A Hard Day's Night" with the skeletons screaming and charging in "Jason and the Argonauts" and then discovered that Jason and the Argonauts came out a YEAR before Hard Day's Night.

I graine
you graine
we all graine
for MIGRAINE

I wound up cutting okra into smaller pieces which the recipe I found after the fact says NOT to do but honestly, short of stopping at the Lebanese grocery store, there is just no way to find smaller, middle eastern style okra.

I did not buy a giant burrito.

Instead, I bought groceries, then fried tofu to add to salads later, stewed pork to cook with preserved vegetables later, and cooked a vague attempt at Persian okra stew. Probably not very authentic, will likely clean me out, but tastes pretty good imho.

oh no it's BBC DOCUMENTARY SYNTHS

you pretty much have to wear a suit jacket with elbow patches and have glasses with squarish frames, and probably sideburns, if you show up with this on in the background

@FurryThrowPillows Close to the Edge. Even if my fave Yes track is on Fragile.

this Yes album ain't shit

* FIVE MINUTES LATER *

* Hallucinating a confused blend of pre-issue-100 White Dwarf magazines and The Dark Crystal

guacamole is basically ice cream, and a cone is basically a taquito, when you think about it

* pipe organ rises from the floor, with a mysterious cloaked figure riding on the bench, gesturing dramatically. However, instead of actually PLAYING the pipe organ, the mysterious being starts singing. Loudly. Vaguely on key. *

da DOO DOO DOOO!
doodle da doo da doo da DEEEEE doo

@liam Thanks!

Responding to this as the most recent comment; at the moment this is fairly impersonal, but I've been so hopping mad (the Sieg Heiling *is* personal, and that really really made me ridiculously angry). And I've also been raised to think I'm completely out of control, out of bounds, some sort of angry monster; I have no perspective whatsoever.

re: reassurance over current state of things

@Bel_tamtu Thanks!

Eldrad Ulthran, legendary farseer of Ulthwe craftworld, is possibly the greatest psyker among the Aeldari, but can his mastery of the webway grant him insight into why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch?

I know I can't really do much more than I have been doing, and possibly because I was taught I was an out of control monster and a lot of my buttons are being pushed, I feel like I'm not supposed to be *this upset* over political stuff. Could I ask for reassurance that I'm within reasonable bounds to be upset?

okay I managed to pull myself out of the terrible mood without weed

some sort of crummy congestion sinusitis bleargh

I really just want to go sleep some.

earlier tonight posted cause I’m in a foul mood again
