did a batch of grocery shopping, which dovetailed into putting pork in to marinate, cleaning up some fridge fossils, taking out trash and recycling, and checking mail/paying electric bill. Cooked fish fillets to get them out of the freezer. Did a small load of laundry (did small load before con).

What should I draw when I get off shift?

Just… there are Ashkenazic themed TTRPGS. I can’t wrap my head around a game with any of the folklore or world of my ancestors. I can’t imagine Jewish PCs, I’m remembering a conversation years ago where I said I didn’t want to pull on that for fantasy because nobody should ever have to be like me in a fantasy world, it’s like having glasses or PTSD. Idk this stirs up a lot of sediment I wasn’t thinking about.

@wyrmchain so the masks are clearly a big thing but, when’d you start making them and, how’d you develop such an instantly recognizable style rather than just going for more illustrative?

Graffiti on bus; someone used a big black marker to scribble over a sprawling line of invectives or dicks. Someone else labelled the resulting sorta Japan-like shaped blob “nihon” and labeled all four main islands.
