I also finally figured out why I get terrible body image hate as a default when I feel bad; childhood was very much about appearances, so I couldn’t access favoritism which might get me out of trouble, or make me sympathetic enough to get help or affection. Beating myself up for being ugly is partly a reaction to feeling trapped. Stuff like this is why I really could use therapy, regular martial arts practice, and tripping on mushrooms.

Pol adjacent, there really isn’t an incoherent scream of frustration about this situation which I could contribute, which hasn’t incoherently been screamed before.

I dunno who “Ych” is but that fursona’s all over the place, dude must be one of those really well off furries I keep hearing about. Like he’s actually the chief programmer for NASA *and* the Navy.

Also I liked that dragon #drawing I did last night, so gonna boost that.

Apparently this one thing yesterday set off a *batch* of hypervigilance, and the sleeping thing isn't going as well as hoped as a result. Ugh.

Honestly this one thing at work about next week seriously spiked my anxiety. It's weird how there's all this stuff to worry about in the world and most of what I dislike is my day job's assumptive and overworks me, and I wish my relationship to my folks was different.

somehow I went from "I will listen to Ilia's Theme because it is sad" to "I will sing 'we're loud, we're proud, we're Queer, we're Klingons kissing on the Diag'" to the Klingon Battle music, and from there to "HELLO! IS ANYONE THERE? I SEEK GLORY!"

One weird thing about me is that occasionally music written for movies will be crushingly sad. Usually these are the requisite love theme and I always wind up associating them with getting to travel actually.

I’m tangentially listening to A Philip Randolph’s speech during the March of Washington. It’s blatantly leftist, and he’s some orator; he speaks like he wasn’t really expecting a microphone. I can see why people followed him and why he’s been downplayed by the establishment.
