And another anxiety spike? This one tied to nightmare. This resolved faster, but I am unsure now if I want to try sleeping again, or if I want a hot shower and a hot drink.

Within 4 hours I; was feeling relatively good about some progress, fell asleep for an hour, woke up in a huge depressive/anxious spiral about where I haven't made progress, and with a friend around for perspective, stepped myself back from that depressive/anxious spike.

I think it's time to table future concerns in favor of some more sleep.

Thing about Darrin is, he was very much the stereotypical huge fencing instructor. Stereotypical Asatruar, Klingon cosplayer, poly dude. Hell he could have WRITTEN the stereotypes. But see, I didn’t know him in those roles; I knew him as an incredibly competent drummer and techie who smoked like industrial parts of Pittsburgh. If you only knew one facet of him he was still larger than life. He did so much in his life, and I was lucky to know him briefly.

Even during the tiny stint of time in the nineties that I was loosely a Burned Fur (it took nothing for me to give up on it) I still felt There's Not Enough Non-Sexual Stuff in Fandom, rather than There's Too Much Sex. Furry can be a lot more sex-positive than a lot of mainstream porn; furry porn is largely a good thing (though I worry some attitudes are damaging and will lead to people getting hurt).

Good news from our French comrades; the NNDL in Nantes has been cancelled. It has taken a decade of protest and hardship. Naturally as an American I heard about it today and thanks to someone posting art on FurAffinity.

*sigh* just again, admiring people who do pornographic comics in furry, and come up with both good art and fun stories. I have my own weird issues about sex, and sex in furry art, and it's difficult for me to write a sense of fun, a sense of humor - I know I couldn't make a porny comic and make it one of the *good* ones.

my brand is that theoretically I post art, but in actuality you get a batch of random stressed out talk and song lyrics in all caps, occasionally I obsess about dinosaurs, and if someone posts a cute animal picture I respond to it with OMG OMG OMG and li'l hearts.

So I gotta admit it's definitely *easy* to be on-brand.

If T. rex WERE an obligate scavenger like Horner thinks, then there should be megafauna remains with obvious bite marks or found in association with titanosaurs and dromaeosaurs which couldn't tackle something that big (like the big hyaenids tied to megafauna later, or the way ravens basically call wolves over to open up prey for them).

There are hadrosaurid and ceratopsian remains with bite marks but I can't find anything suggesting these guys ever ate titanosaurs.
