my attempt to read this PDF of rules for D&D monsters as player characters is slowed by being distracted by finding appropriate music, for instance "The Crusaders in Pskov" for Death Knights or "The Addams Family Theme" for Crawling Claws.

Gonna grab a nap and hopefully that will take care of some of the feelings of profound loss and hopelessness.

so that was an evening worth of being emotionally all over the map, but I would like to think I'm doing okay for how much stress today held after all of the earlier stress in the week with some anticipating tomorrow.

The whole Ukraine thing really upsets me and “there’s a war on killing and dehousing folks during a pandemic and inclement weather” is only a *fraction* of the upset, which I kinda feel bad about.
