Much as I loathe American football, eh, I kinda feel like dissing the sport or the fans is buying into the exact same mindset that got me to loathe American football (you know, mandated YOU LOVE THIS WHAT THE HELL'S WRONG WITH YOU THAT YOU DON'T, FAG).

And I kinda feel like not buying into that. Football is just not my thing and became less so the more it was enforced. So hey, if you actually dig the Superbowl and that stuff, hope it's a good one for you.

Okay, open question, asking for reassurance; does anyone else have memory loss from PTSD where they get back memories and they're not big horrifying stuff (or particularly good things for that matter), they're just random little details?

In related news, I'm at this point in my life where literally no time is wasted.

It'd be great to keep making breakthroughs with art and personal stuff, and I definitely need to socialize more and figure that out a little, but if I'm not really doing much of anything, I pretty much need time doing not much of anything.

Realizing that the compassion I extended to a friend earlier is something I should extend to myself; given just how crappy my background is, it's neither kind nor reasonable for me to expect myself to be this incredibly sane, incredibly social, incredibly brave whirlwind of art-making.

... especially since I came out of 2017 much saner and a better artist than I went in, which is pretty good considering how close I came not to making it out of 2017.
