death
@noelle My condolences. u.u
@websterleone *steeples hooves and leans back into the shadows in desk chair* Muahahaha! Haa. whaowhoawhoaWH-!
*gracelessly falls over backwards*
Ow.
HA!
@chest_bot @jaidatruck@mastodon.social ... *lewd!* O.O
Double Bucky, you're the one... (tech +)
Would it be advantageous - if one was teaching oneself to be more ambidextrous for Reasons, and currently righthanded - to have a horizontally-mirrored layout numeric keypad on the left side of the keyboard? it's already upside down compared to telephones, and transportable with USB HID.
undead robots?
@001zlnv The nukes blew holes through the hardened ROMs and system files. So many bitflips. So much corruption. It's taken *ages* to run error correction on what's left and frankly, that's pretty iffy, too.
But it remembers a few things.
It remembers the most basic systems ops. Doors. Atmo. Fluids. Electrics.
It remembers lifeforms. How easily they crush. Asphyxiate. Drown. Electrocute.
And it specifically remembers each of *you*.
Welcome back.

@zebratron2084 Does that mean I can hit snooze and go back to bed now?
I like this idea.
@Phorm ... welp! Certainly didn't hurt any.
scene beef
@krinndnz @Ratttz i mean c'mon i call fake for one thing it'd have to be like vat grown chibabeef with neon flexglass dredtubes or maybe lavalamp hidesplotches that form rorschach blotches of the metacognitic weltanschauung and mootropic cognitive enhancers that elevate their neurological performance to cathedral-grade cognition so they have to jack their body mass to keep up and five boobs
(or six, but not stacked 2 by 3, that's been done to death)
@noelle I am very glad to celebrate this holiday. Happiest birthday. n.n

cuil 1.2, hume 30 and decreasing
@CoronaCoreanici Arbitrarily, the baseline has been set to 1. (Apparently they initially tried to take *actual* measurements of what 'normality' is, but that proved frighteningly inconclusive. Sort of like 'room temperature' depends on where in the world your room is. ;)

cuil 1.2, hume 30 and decreasing
@CoronaCoreanici The Hume scale normally spans 0 to 100 (abnormally much higher), for comparing the 'realness' of local realities. Generally speaking, so long as everything is at about the same Hume, you're ok. If you have a higher Hume than your surroundings, you can influence them anomalously. If they've a higher Hume than you, they're anomalously resistant to influence. Below .9, things get... bad. </SCP_Foundation>

I keep hearing the faint but distinct sound of a ST:TOS medical tricorder just above and afore my right ear. Every so often, the warble breaks through the background noise at work.
Which is not a bad representation of how my brain would visualize tickling the temporal lobe of someone locked in a delusional state.
So. If somebody's trying to directly frob my perceptual, emotional or memory systems to get a message through?
You've got my attention.
Try harder.
@JulieSqveakaroo She is pandaing to my interests, certainly.
@Ferrovore *snerk* Type 2, by that logic, would be "That jerk Pancreas making the rest of the body look bad by working itself to death trying to keep up with our 80h work week. What a whiny martyr." XD

@porsupah Maybe. Pressing my nose against the glass isn't necessarily the best thing.
Need to get up for work in four hours: I'll try sleep for now.
@Therian Say you're 'turning 33&1/3' instead.
When people look confused, lean in close and say confidentially to them "It's a record."
