@noelle Quick! Cling tenaciously to my buttocks! <.< >.>
Too much unwanted information
@JulieSqveakaroo Increasingly, me too. I don't know if the problem has a technological solution, or if birbsite even perceives the situation as a problem.
Subnautica
Re: unpleasantness - pleased they fired their troll/racist. Saddened they immediately wound up hit by a campaign to trash their rating on Steam - unsurprised, but saddened.
I have a routine developing - scout an area with a seamoth, drop beacons with descriptions of large mineral deposits, return with a cyclops and prawnsuit, harvest minerals, steam back home. Seems to be working - at least up to some level of scarcity.
I need to go deeper, but that's where the monsters live.
Work (-), mental health (--)
@Jssra You're welcome to make suggestions, certainly!
Mood (+)
A nice lunch out with a friend or two and I'm presented with evidence that - at least in some environments - I'm neither rude nor condescending. Work isn't interested in exploring how the behaviour of coworkers contributes to my stress, mores the shame.
I feel okay about things, though. Between meds and restructuring my workflow, this should be a solvable issue - and I'll be a better cog for it. A useful skill to acquire. n.n

@mawr *hugs tighly and muffles a few sobs before putting on his 'work face' and going back in...*

@zx3 Oh, him. The Islamophobic right-winger who grabbed my ass demonstrating how unreasonable women are. Collects guns, shoots animals for fun, left the army because they're too soft. Errupts into tirades about liberals/students/immigrants every few days.
I've pointed out that he loses *his* shit without consequence: the boss' response was "He's too important to what we do to fire. You aren't."
Work (-), mental health (--)
I'm fucked. My efforts to come across as friendly and supportive have been interpreted as 'condescending'. The boss is joking about installing the doom beam in my basement so nobody has to deal with me ever again. When they blow off steam, it's 'funny'. When I blow off steam, it's 'hurtful'. Or 'frightening'.
Most probabilities lead to my termination, probably within the next seven months, if history repeats. And then the meds become unaffordable. And then. And then.
job, stress
@mmsword Oh gosh, that'd be amazing. Limited user base, known hardware profiles, and the alcohol is amazing....
open question, mh, silliness, largely insincere kneejerk musical snark
@zebratron2084 I shall use its heat to cook a stew. Miiiiight take a while.
@catgoat I am impressed and afraid. Mostly impressed. n.n
@squirrel They're good, right?! So good. n.n
@JulieSqveakaroo @literorrery I know, I do. *sigh*
I'll make an appointment tomorrow.
@catgoat the bleeding hells? Can you rip them and wipe the ads and reburn or store on a more enlightened media?
@JulieSqveakaroo @literorrery You're the one to talk. Kangaroos have what, six toes in total? I can limp by with nine.
(Actually... look, I know this isn't going to count in my favour, but favouring my toe has changed my gait enough that the *chronic* limp from the tendinosis in that foot's heel has become much more managable... >.>)
@Oneironott Y'all's been introduced to "Buster Wilde, Weerwolf", right?
*rummages* Ah, an autoarchive. Dig in. http://www.oocities.org/buster_wilde/comics/index.html
@literorrery Still at work, been there 14 hours, too late to go get my meds now. Standing on a fractured toe most of the day.
Could be worse. Could be on fire. :)
