The Mother of The Mate lives with us, and has moderate to severe cognitive impairment consistent with age-related dementia. She also lost most of a front tooth Sunday night: there's no saving it.
There are options. They all have various tradeoffs and care requirements. And /we can't explain them to her in any way that will persist/. 'Informed Consent' becomes interesting when you're playing whack-a-mole with coherence.
My week just became exponentially more complicated.

@JulieSqveakaroo Huh. My depression and anxiety have gone completely away, and all I want to do is sit here in the semi-dark, occasionally check in on my friends, and mostly just stare at the wall as the shadows deepen for the next few hours before bed, otherwise doing nothing.
So, in terms of accomplishing my goals, I am kicking all of the arse.
