here's the thing. I KNOW precisely what it is. I have SEEN it something like eight or nine times in the past 20 minutes, clearly, and without ambiguity. I KNOW it's a moth. Moths are friends . moths are nice. Moths are adorable and I love them to bits and I try to rescue them from my kitties as often as possible.

Yet EVERY time I hear it or catch a glimpse of it or it flits past me harmlessly but fast, I panic for a bit. :(

phobias suck. a lot.

why in this particular instance?

well there is a particular flying insect creature flying around my room, bouncing off objects with a chitinous "click" noise every so often. you know, like a certain small stripy buzzing insect with a painful sting that I have a phobia of might.
it's flying around pretty rapidly too. just like said creature I am deathly afraid of.
It occasionally flies past me or at my peripheral vision, prompting squeals and jumping.

@jasminehenry It is super sweet just being able to fly along with Pharah through the skies. :D occasionally switching to damage mode when she's about to fire to maximise healing potential and gettin' them assists, keeping her alive throughout the hellfire that comes screaming your way only for her to take down the widow trying to get a bead on you?

and this means there is a very real potential for a dildo-housed botnet launching a DDOS attack on a bunch of servers.
