@Elizafox If it helps any, in Europe, if the GBASP is Surf Blue colour, it's 100% a backlit model, as that's the only colour unique to the backlights in Europe.... else you need to check the size of the picture of the GBA SP on the side of the box for the Pink and Tribal ones. If it's a big picture of the unit, then it's a reissue, thus a backlit one

Misty on the other hand likes to pick up her favourite toys and sit on the stairs and call out to show how good a hunter she is for catching an inanimate object, or just announce how high on catnip she is when it's her catnip sock.
