If our species doesn't develop some SERIOUS herd-scale memetic immunity fast, we are colossally fucked.
We got a ridiculous and obvious lie as "people in the Amazon know what a pharmacy is, and have made an informed decision that this bean is an adequate substitute" into the ideosphere.
All that happened is that a few hundred sketchy people repeated it. Now Serious Adults are repeating it as exciting truth--- because there's money in it.
I'm terrified.
