There are two cuties snuggling in the car behind me ^w^
@KS@is.a.qute.dog and @revenant are super adorable together 💖
re: mtg rules question
@catterfly I *think* that because they're created tapped and attacking, but are created after declaring attackers in the declare attackers step, any "when X attacks" triggers won't trigger for them? So you'd end up with only the standard number of myriad copies (one for each non-defending player) plus the copies for each of defending player's creatures.
But I'm not a judge, so take this with a grain of salt... ^^;;;
I can't wait to talk about these bugs I've been looking into in Itadaki Street 2, because some of them are very silly... Just have to find enough focus and mental energy that I can finish writing a post about them... .w.;;;
Spent a day or two this week figuring out what the Japanese bugfix hack for Itadaki Street 2 changed. Turns out there were some really obscure but very strange bugs in the game... .w.;;;
@BatElite Some of them are, but the way I implemented others would require me to change the implementation before they could be fully separated.
For example, one of them is a bug related to an unreachable textbox, but the text in that textbox is unterminated. The way I fixed it was by replacing the textbox with a translated version, so separating that bugfix out would require going in and fixing the original text so it was properly terminated.
Oof, I found at least four bugs in IS2 last night. One of them is a softlock present in the original game... .w.;;;
nsfw language, math
Just as the phrase "what the entire fuck" implies the existence of fractional fucks, the phrase "what the absolute fuck" implies the existence of both positive and negative fucks (or else there would be no need for an absolute value operation). Taken together with the phrase "what the actual fuck" (which implies the existence of imaginary fucks), we may thus conclude that fuckery is isomorphic with the complex field.
In today's "why is this code making the game crash" adventures, spot the bug:
stack.push(tile_ID);
stack.push(tilemap_index);
stack.push(bank_number);
... // Run code here
stack.pull(tile_ID);
stack.pull(tilemap_index);
stack.pull(bank_number);
return;
... It's doing things in the same order! How can this code be broken...? ^^;;;;;
(I have since fixed this bug. ^.^)
i just got a suuuper cute commission!

new Patreon post / advertisement
Hi I guess I have a Patreon now???
It's at https://www.patreon.com/raspberryfloof, and I'll put things like Ita2 updates there early before I post them anywhere else, along with music or any other things I make o.o
I don't have anything up yet but I'll do a writeup of some interesting things I've been running into while working on Ita2 the past few weeks by tomorrow! and I know it's the end of the month so it's totally okay if you wait until after January 1 so you don't get charged for one day of posts o.o
Another Ita2 tidbit:
There's a bit of unreferenced text near one routine that handles venture cards #61 and #62, which give stock dividends of 10%/20% normally. At first glance, though, this text seems like it would just print garbage tiles on screen...
It turns out this extra text is old enough that it expects a lowercase English font, which isn't in the final game anymore... and it also suggests you originally got paid a flat amount per stock share you owned instead!

what am I doing......
I've archived e98e. thanks for all the fun, and sorry for the disappointing news. <3
