The weirdest, most hilarious thing is still what one of the jays did a few weeks back. We were putting out peanuts for around 4 of them. One of them grabbed a big peanut, the kind with two nuts in it.
They shelled the peanut, ate one of the nuts and...
...brought the other one back. Laid it neatly on the railing and returned to the tree.

The crows are finally ready to trust the people in the house when we leave out food - and the jays didn't steal it this time.
(Video shows a crow on the back porch claiming a peanut and flying off with it)

Today makes five years since discovering that he was lying to me all along. Five years since the panic attacks started, since the anxiety broke loose, since practically everything terrible started happening.
I took the day off because I'm usually worthless whenever October 2nd rolls around and I'd rather just quietly get through it without having to deal with work.
So naturally I start off the morning with two intense bouts of gastrointestinal distress. Thanks, body.
I'll probably keep going to the same clinic, and my doctor is recommending two people there as being particularly good. One guy, one girl.
I'm having trouble articulating just how uncomfortable I am at the prospect of seeing a male doctor regularly, so.... pretty sure it's not gonna be him.
I love this so much.........

Rare coastal dragoness, often found by sunny sea cliffs. Nonbinary but fairly femme-leaning. If you're under 18 don't follow.
