Airport travel, pat downs, anxiety
At the airport now, through the lines and security checkpoints and pat-downs. Chest not yet large enough to cause more than mild curiosity.
Getting 'sir' a lot, but not minding so far. The point here is just being unobtrusive and invisibly normal. Anxiety is fading, as the only thing left is to get on the plane and get to Hawaii.
When you see "Ye Olde...", for example, that was never meant to be read with a Y sound; the Y is a placeholder for the extinct thorn, and should be read "th".

I don't think I'm going to be visiting him again for a while though, not while the kid is around.
babies, stress
So despite having "parents and kids" as a fairly regular trauma trigger, I managed to spend around an hour tonight in the company of an old high school friends of mine, who is now a father of a small pink baby-like child.
It sucked and was hugely emotionally draining. I didn't freak out and I haven't burst into tears yet, but it was extremely stressful.
