Advantage of getting into a coven over a Ph.D.: rarely will it put you in debt, you'll be more noticed, and you get to wear the robes constantly.

I think this is my favorite tenet of the Satanic Temple, and I recommend this kind of mindset for a lot of things:

"Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word."

@mawr You are a pure and perfect soul.

imposter’s syndrome, self-loathing

@xurnami I don't think that's true at all. Especially if it's a subject you have passion in and you can find a way to cater to your audience (short clips, easy to digest, something to catch & keep interest, etc.)

@lizardsquid Becoming your own boss is super hard. You can be too easy or too hard on yourself, and too hard leads you to not wanting to do anything but give up.

Still, you ARE your own boss. It's important to keep that in mind. You want to direct yourself.

@Sailorplutoid@cybre.space (I mean, I already got a coven, and I'm a witch already, and we do our own thing, but we don't got that kinda cred)

@Sailorplutoid@cybre.space
Mostly, that much space and good quality robes

You are real. You are valid. You are valuable. The world is better because you are in it.

I believe in you. I'm proud of you.

Yes, you.

@zebratron2084 I hope you don't push me away! I care about you despite any brokenness. I know that you don't do what you do because you want to and I get the sense you're working on yourself as much as you possibly can.

I'm always available if you need to talk to someone. I really do hope you find happiness and healing.

While I'm blathering (A question of nature)

@Phorm Perhaps in a past or future life, in some altered existence, you've been it, you will be it, that is something core to you.

Does it matter? I don't think it really does, or rather, I think it's better phrased -- what DOES truly matter to you? What would make it easier to accept, easier to embrace, what would relieve the suffering of not being that?

And if you ask me, if it is a delusion, our delusions are better than the reality.

@Yarideki @kyotokoyote@meow.social Same here, best of luck!
