Bejeweled 2 is brutal, it actually prevents you from losing in endless and timed (although timed you lose if you run out of time)... if you run out of moves on the board the game will place gems you can make a match with at the top.

Now if you happen to get ZERO moves and all gems mismatched at the top, the game will give you a rainbow orb... which you can destroy any block of your choice. So basically if you manipulate yourself into a bad position, you end up doing better lol because combos.
