I filmed the talk today in 4K60 both because my phone could, and as the setup for some sort of bad joke about gamers demanding it, but now that I have a 17.64 GB HEVC-encoded MOV file on my computer I’m no longer laughing

the lesson from all this; next time you’re doing a presentation at a retro game festival, compile it on Sega CD, not google slides

oddly enough, the RGB panel at the Vancouver Retro Gaming Expo today is being presented using a projector with more RGB inputs than most modern televisions 😅
