I have made it as far as “create a rudimentary iOS camera application,” so that’s promising
there seem to be two “selected” states for objects? what’s the difference? what do they mean? nothing else in the UI seems to change to indicate I’ve done something meaningful?
I HAVEN’T EVEN GOT TO WRITING A SINGLE LINE OF CODE YET I’M STUCK IN THE DAMN WYSIWYG EDITOR
your screenshot has a pair of “layout guides” and mine doesn’t? is “safe area” equivalent? how do I fu ck in g create a constraints entry
“set top, bottom, leading and trailing to 0” um, where? in what? there’s a picture of an “add new constraints?” how do you get here? it’s not a menu item I guess?
“drag a UIView to your view controller” I can’t find a UIView, is that just called a “View” now?
“control+drag that view onto ViewController.swift and create an IBOutlet” control-dragging just creates a blue line, but it doesn’t actually seem to be able to drop anywhere?
like, it used to have a “random filter” button which was the heart and soul of its utility, and now it just doesn’t, and most of the filters are in a subfolder?
instead it has …masks? I guess? and a slider which either bugs your eyes out or pinches your jaw in? what garbage
