so uh, you click “pay with credit card” after reloading the page, right? and then click the “place order” button in its place and it goes “uh you idiot, you absolute moron, you haven’t added a card”
it does not uh, tell you you have to scroll ¾ of the way down in order to do so
for instance, this one has a big “Pay with Apple Pay” button which uh, triggers a JavaScript error because their domain and/or payment provider aren’t actually set up to use Apple Pay!
please won’t someone just sell me this worse-update-schedule-than-most-webcomics alien mineral lady cartoon on something vaguely close to that schedule?
(honestly, now that there’s an auto-play video setting in the App Store of all things, I sort of wish Apple would make it a system-wide setting that apps were required to obey)
but just, please, if you’re going to even consider implementing auto play, maybe make it opt-in? prompt the first time you want to start playing a video? consider letting the user actually get to consent to being inundated in this way?
like I don’t get it, how can anyone deploy auto playing video and not consider it an interruption, a distraction, an imposition upon any viewer’s workflow
I get why Google are doing it, because if they get someone to click that it goes to YouTube where they then show an ad for $
I can’t believe Apple have actually acknowledged, for the first time maybe ever, that their devices are subject to wear? http://tips.apple.com/en-au/ios/11/iphone/TIPA14EEB073_P1
