@SangriaSnake I keep having the same experience. Never beat Hand of the King yet. I have really good runs where I'm wasting everything easily even in the castle, and I am usually optimized for ranged stuff (ice bow and exploding crossbow, say)...but it never matters. I've never actually been prepared for the Hand, regardless. He's too fast, I take too much damage, don't dodge enough, nothing seems to hold him in place....
I'll solve this. But it's stupid hard.

That's really neat! Always fun to find important resonances with a name you're choosing.
When I was choosing mine, I looked in a broad list of 'non-binary' names, and was skimming in the E section. I'd already been going by "Em" as a shortened furry nickname, so I was looking for anything else that shortened to the same. Also around the same time, I had started identifying with/as a phoenix.
Then I saw "Ember". And I knew that was it. :-)
