The boundaries of their power, assuming omnipotence alongside omniscience, are still that internet, and anything connected to it.
Now, find a way for that internet to connect to or otherwise affect the physical world (a la Serial Experiments Lain), and I'd say that more like the usual idea of gods, but...a god is still a god in its own domain, even bounded.
