When I was in my Senior year of college, I was in an interesting dorm. The entire campus was up on a hill, in a shallow sort of old volcano bowl. This dorm was close to the top. It got a lot of heavy fog, and there were lots of tall pine trees which caught condensation from it.

This spawned in my head the poetic phrase: "It's only raining under the trees."

Walking to work this morning in sub-freezing weather after a snow, I discovered a new variant: "It's only snowing under the trees."

Mine's probably more akin to a prayer wheel in the basic sense, buuuut...I also think of it as an "etheric computer". Energy constantly running through it, but also having "programs" I might eventually work on for it. And a ring I wear around my neck for the interface to carry with me.

@thefishcrow@cybre.space Hm, from poking around a little, it looks like radionics and psionics are nearly the same thing. Psychotronics is apparently just what parapsychology was called for a time.

I love things like the Heironymous Machine, or "devices" that are supoosed to work on subtle energies but use modern industrial dials and wires.

And...like, I'm building my own? I have diagrams and designs for a Machine, powered by music and electricity, that is inteded to power my woo.

@thefishcrow@cybre.space *grins* I guess I'm not technically an elemental, just...electricity and electronics /are/ my paranormal in some sense. And I've always had a fascination for psionics (and psychotronics, and radionics). :-)
