"forbids the publication of obscene materials. Specifically, depictions of male-female sexual intercourse and pubic hair are considered obscene, but bare genitalia is not."

So... were they like "I know who doesn't have pubic hair: prepubescent children; let's depict them having sex with tentacle monsters! That's much less obscene."?

Does The Doctor have some kind of Time Lord ADHD that means he can't focus on a simple "guard the master for 1000 years" task without getting distracted by all the interesting humans, and therefore needs Nardole to keep reminding him of what he decided to do.

Maybe the doctor is just a totally inconsistent character, written to have all/vague characteristics to appeal to the widest audience. Can you think of a single personality trait the doctor has consistently?

I'm not advocating we listen to cis white (etc) men who already have all the privilege. Their ideas are *already* dominant.

It's the thoughts of people who are oppressed, that don't get published.

Women and nonbinary people, people of colour, people who aren't straight, autistic people, people who don't have money. But these are just examples we KNOW about, because some of them have enough privilege in other areas to be able to complain.

People say that war is bad. But in order for a conflict to be visible, the two (or more, but that's very rare) sides must be relatively evenly matched.

An unfair fight is invisible. A nation with a police force and an army, prevents any other power system from getting a foothold. While there is no civil war, you don't even hear about alternative armies/alternative government systems, except as abstract ideas.

The same can be said about dominant ideas.

I've seen the phrase "run by and for autistic people" work well. Especially with the understanding that non autistic users are also welcome, so long as they follow the rules (the rules which are of course tailored to autistic needs).

Just realised that "Awoo!" is an excellent substitute for "Hello Fediverse!" That's ELEVEN characters saved. Think what you could say with eleven characters.

With 11 characters I can almost write my username.

11 characters is just enough for a your mum joke:

You could also complement someone enthusiastically:
