It is warm and hot and all the native Seattleites are whining about it on Reddit and I am just grinning happily. Here is some advice from a Southerner who's stuck up here:
@anthracite my personal ShoDuPerSav (am I saying that right? :P) during hot weather is lukewarm showers. frequently, as needed, especially after exercise.
I'm lucky in that I don't usually need much sunscreen--I may get a burn, but after that I get a permatan that just darkens over time...
@kobold I'm so used to variations of "heck" that I have difficulty recognizing "heckle" as a "real word" nowdays...
@Leucrotta gawd yes. I would be so much more relaxed about genderstuff if our language had a default "if you aren't sure use this neutral one" pronoun.
