Skyrim: new mod fun
I had a bit of trouble getting the "Interesting NPCs" mod installed, but I've talked to two of the new NPCs so far and I LOVE IT. XD thank you very much @starkatt for the recommendation!

Today the cats decided they were prepared to share the same couch cushion - first time since I brought them home from the rescue centre.
@Azure @Elizafox we tossed around various scenarios, including literal walls a'la Berlin. a lot of things depend on resources and trade, and how much hostility there is between the factions.
regardless, IMO secession is a BAD FUCKIN' IDEA, no matter who's trying to do it. I mean, I love the ideal of Cascadia, but I also see the *major* problems in the idea. :|

@guerrillarain@witches.town my received wisdom is hematite; when it's full of "bad energy," it breaks, which happens fairly quickly because hematite is pretty fragile. XD
but really anything would do; something you can hold in your hand, or put on a bracelet (or the bracelet itself), and then touch it and concentrate on putting the bad energy into it. and as soon as you get home stick it in a small bowl of salt, which is supposed to leach the bad energy back out.

sooooo Skyrim runs a *lot* better on my laptop than on my desktop, which isn't exactly surprising since my laptop is like twice the computer my desktop is. welp! I guess if I'm gonna be playing Skyrim I'll be doing it on the laptop, so I better clear off the small desk and get it set up for playing...
