Okay, I gotta talk about police violence against people of color and especially black people and especially black men. I'm hoping that I understand this right and that I'm explaining it well. I'm gonna CW the rest of the thread but I wanted to put this at the head of the thread so people know what the aims and goals are.

So it's 36 hours until my birthday and I just got a letter in the mail saying my unemployment is officially disqualified AND if I need unemployment again in a year I'm penalized by it being reduced EIGHT TIMES the amount I should get.
I have a week to make rent money and I wanna cry. I don't wanna stress this hard, I just wanna have a nice birthday weekend fml.

@InspectorCaracal@tootplanet.space I figure I need to either update my desktop version with a patch (but I don't know where to get this fictional patch), or erase it entirely from my desktop and reinstall with the new license, which seems like not the best solution. or a third option that I am entirely missing. any suggestions/ideas?

@InspectorCaracal@tootplanet.space I recently bought a new Scrivener license for my laptop, as I'd used up all my installation allotments for the old one on various desktop crashes over the years. when I open a Scrivener document originally made on my desktop onto my laptop, I have to update it--but then I can't open it on my desktop version; it only opens a blank document, with no error message. I assume there's a version difference, but I can't find anything about it on the website.
hey, so, I need somebody here who's a #writer or at least knows the #Scrivener program, because I'm having what I think is a version conflict but I'm not sure. if you don't know, would you please boost this to increase circulation? and if you do, let me know by reply or DM or whatever, and thank you very much in advance! :D
