every once in a while, when I'm feeling kinda down about my life, I go to the Captain Awkward forums and read a thread that's just like "HOLY HELLFIRE, WHY ARE YOU PUTTING UP WITH THIS, WHAT EVEN IS THIS MESS," and my life slides neatly into perspective for the actually pretty awesome thing it actually is. :D

my #username is the same as my #displayname and they both mean me. I've never been good at--hmm, original sounds/words, so when I think of a "true name" for myself, what comes to mind is a combination of grey and green; grey of fog/overcast, green of abundant foliage in a rainy climate. I use "green" as my public handle, because my green hair makes it easy for folks to remember; "grey" is my surname in that context.
