dreams, spider
had some very cool dreams, but first I wanted to mention the tiny baby spider (less than the size of a pinhead) who I found trying to spin a web on my glasses this morning. I very carefully relocated it, and wish it well in its future arachnid endeavors. :D
the dreams: I had been on a camping trip (?), but we'd come back early (?) and so were having to stay in a small college town for a week (?). (who "we" were is undetermined, other than young-ish people who knew each other)

Free Comic Book Day
Hey, everybody, it's Free Comic Book Day, which is a huge event for all those local comics shops out there. If you've got a local favorite, today's a great day to head down and see all the new offerings coming out. I'm actually kinda sad because even though I'm on an amazing camping trip, I'm missing the chance to go to my local store, Phoenix Comics and Games in Capitol Hill. I ordered my pancakes and was happily picking toppings when it suddenly occurred to me to question whether this place was gluten-free. I'd thought it was, that was the whole reason for going out here in the first place, but I wasn't seeing any signs or anything indicating that it was. and just as I was hitting peak uncertainty I woke up, choking on my own drool, because THOSE PANCAKES LOOKED AND SMELLED AMAZING. ;______;
