I used to hear all the time about how companies were good things, about how CEO's should be respected for running their companies and managing their people ethically. I used to think that anyone who didn't would get kicked out by all the other ethical people on "The Board" or "The Union" Like "The Board" was some sort of magical disciplinary tool to punish greedy people for damaging the company's reputation.

And it has taken my a long time to get used to being disappointed time and time again.

@noiob If you've got a system that's letting you play original xbox games, I can't boost Tricky hard enough. I'm biased as hell, and maybe have a lot of nostalgia for it, but I can't help but love everything about that game. It got me to love and appreciate so many things, including the work that goes into game development, and Run DMC.

Some days i feel like I'm still chasing the high of having a stolen dad joke blow up on masto.

Ugh. Had so many "What am I doing? Am I going crazy? Have I wasted my life?" moments last night. Didn't like it. Felt very disconnected and not in charge of my own actions. That was kinda scary.

A few weeks ago, I realized there is a part of me that actually misses doing desktop support. I miss feeling like a hero when I solve the annoying issue.

I used to BLOW MINDS by showing users how to Cmd+Tab to switch applications.

It's a weird feeling, being treated like a wizard when you don't think you're anything special.

I'm glad i didn't let it go to my head.

But at the same time, maybe I wish I did.

My guess is the painter only had one of each stencil and rather than go through the effort of pulling the 2 off the wall to paint it twice, they just used a number that was close enough so they could do the job in one pass.

@irisjaycomics I wish Dollskill had things that fit me. I would wear so much of their stuff.
