I started writing this because it came to me suddenly that I haven't seen or knew of any trans, or even trans-positive rappers. And I figured, I know how to rhyme words. I can "make" beats. Why not me?

@Leucrotta Voltron. Full stop. Piloting an awesome anthro-combat craft that can join together with others and make something even more awesome? It was wonderful and fulfilling and awesome. And then Power Rangers showed up. and Big Bad Beetleborgs, and a whole bunch of other Saban properties. And then Anime became an actual thing, and not just re-processed kids cartoons. And then I started actually learning how mechanical things worked and were designed and engineered. I started learning about energy, and materials, and I learned about civics, and governments, and people. And I started learning about narratives and conflict, and motivations.

To come out or not? That is the question.

Why does family have to be so complicated? I want to live my truth and be me, but fuck if I know how anyone other than my chosen circle will react.

I came from a very black, very religious family. I have two uncles who are pastors, my father was/is a deacon. My grandfather was a trustee (handled the money) for a congregation that topped out 2k on a crowded Sunday my whole life.

Uncle Michael actually pulled me aside to give me a talking to around 12 years ago, expressing his displeasure at me having @mawr go with me to my grandmother's (his mother's) funeral. I didn't have a good response, and I haven't really talked to him since.

I think my mom would actually be okay. She's had to deal with lots of issues being a teacher and administrator in public schools, so she's got experience dealing with heavy, personal, makes-you-vulnerable shit.

I wrote up a letter any everything. Haven't sent it yet. Still don't feel comfortable with a bunch of stuff.

I think I'm going to. Its just a matter of when.

It is also blowing my mind that soon We will all live in a world where Project Binky is complete. I won't know what to do with my life.
