Some quick European Parliamentary election facts, with what we know so far:

* Of the 70 seats so far declared, 37 of them have gone to pro-remain parties, and 33 have gone to pro-leave parties.

Probably not gonna stay up much longer for Scotland and Northern Ireland results (sorry) but so far pro-EU parties are winning in numbers, despite the Brexit Party being the largest.

Pro-EU/anti-EU
Seats: 32 / 31
Vote %: 43.02% / 38.83%

By the way, pro-EU parties have won more seats in the UK than anti-EU parties, so far.

The Guardian makes a fine point that even though the Brexit Party are topping results in the East of England region, pro-Brexit parties have gone from having six regional seats to just three.

Probably a bit late for it but after reading up on how D'hondt method proportional representation (which is used in European Parliamentary elections) works I'm kinda interested in writing a calculator app that people can play with.

Hi Europeans!

It's voting day! You know what that means; if you're able to vote, go and do so, otherwise you're forbidden from complaining about the outcome and everything bad that happens for the next five years is your fault.

Okay good. Now go do that.

Once again, the EU actually does what Downing Street is too cowardly to even suggest. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-483
