iOS 13 having more performance improvements after iOS 12 was a performance-focused update is pretty great. Gotta go fast! #WWDC
The noise app seems like a really simple but really overlooked thing and I’m pretty stoked they’re doing something about it. #WWDC
Aww shit an alternate history sci-fi space travel series made by a guy who worked on Star Trek.
They’ve fucking got me. #WWDC
Despite what Apple’s intro video says, y’all should probably prioritise sleeping over coding stuff. #WWDC
Aw heck it’s almost #WWDC time. Mute that there hashtag if you don’t wanna be potentially inundated with techy junk.
re: Personal ponderings about ethnicity and heritage
I know some bits of the Bukar Sadong language, I've celebrated Gawai, and worn the ceremonial dress a couple of times.
But otherwise I'm pretty detached from that heritage. I don't really "get" it (sometimes, that's a good thing), but it does feel like an unexplored part of myself, sometimes.
Personal ponderings about ethnicity and heritage
Having one of them moments where I simultaneously appreciate that I'm depended from an until-recently tribal culture which still has its own spiritual beliefs, cuisine, and even language (spoken by less than 50,000 people) whilst also being kinda sad that I'll never be able to entirely understand or be part of that culture.

(Note I’ve roughly grouped parties as pro-remain and pro-leave based on each party’s current official position. For Labour, I’ve put them in pro-remain on the basis of their stance during the referendum.)
* In England, pro-remain parties have secured 43.02% of the public vote, compared to 38.83% for pro-leave parties.
* Pro-remain parties have won 20 additional seats compared to 2014, largely via the staunchly pro-EU Liberal Democrats, who have gone from having one seat to 16.
