re: GBBO
@Sosh Rahul is cursed, I swear.
re: GBBO
@Sosh They have, but they didn't do that last series when the door fell off someone's oven, which I felt was totes unfair.
@Doggo The Guardian is definitely centre left, yeah. But it's the best of a not great bunch, unfortunately!
re: GBBO
@Sosh I knoooow, it's just a comparison D:
@Doggo Yeah, I'm aware. I've kinda attributed to The Guardian tending to have a stance of "all opinions are valid," which is why their opinion pages have hosted prominent conservatives like David Cameron before.
GBBO
@Sosh They look more like steam buns than doughnuts.
@Doggo Although imperfect I'd say The Guardian is good enough.
Founded as the result of the Peterloo Massacre, only major paper to not be owned by a media oligarch, only one to have won the Pulitzer Prize, has been instrumental in lots of big stories (Trafigura scandal, Snowdon leaks), and runs a chariable foundation. It's bounds above any of the others we have, IMO.
@Doggo The Daily Express is just as bad as the Mail too. Worse in some situations, like its proclivity to publish straight up conspiracy theories.

Apple Event - October 2018
The new iPad Pro has the same graphics performance as the Xbox One X. Huhwow.
@SwooshyCueb At work we say "take it offline" to mean "discuss it separately from the in-person meeting we're currently having"
Like… we're already offline??
re: Web Design: Fursuit Configurator
@stuart_otterson Vue is a neat little thing, and yeah, the ability to drop it into existing stuff is great. I use it for progressively enhancing complex forms a lot of the time!

re: Web Design: Fursuit Configurator
@stuart_otterson I've made some pretty complex product configuration things with Vue.js before.
I think reactive tools like that work well for situations like that, then you can work more on business logic and less on DOM manipulation and state management.
Friendly neighbourhood robotic bat. Also web developer. Hugs/smooches @may.
