re: Pokémon Nintendo Direct, theorising, Sw/Sh spoilers
A decent amount of stuff in the game’s plot seems like it could be followed up on. New professor, two new gym leaders (plus two more from the other version), Hop persuing a new career, Leon seemingly taking over Rose’s job to some degree… There’s still a lot of stuff left to explore, it feels like.
Pokémon Nintendo Direct, theorising
I dunno if I’ve twooted about this before but I’ve had the theory since before release that Nintendo wanna treat Sword/Shield like Pokémon Go a bit, and incrementally add more Pokémon and new events/quests over time.
It would seem a reasonable explanation to me as to why a bunch of creates aren’t present (to add them later), the main story is a little short (so it doesn’t take long to get to additional quests), and we already know there are Pokes in the game files that aren’t accessible in game yet.
There’s potential money in getting people to keep playing long after initial popularity has waned.
If we didn't already have overwhelming evidence that Trump was a fucking psychopath, we surely have it by now.
Fireworks are overrated. I’d much rather listen to grime music and Never Gonna Give You Up. #TheHootenannyIsBetter
