New Vote for Policies is here. http://voteforpolicies.org.uk
World would be a better place if everyone voted for policies, not personalities.
For All Mankind, episode 1
What I don’t particularly get is why the show uses fictionalised versions of real people (Apollo 11 crew, Werner Von Braun, Gene Kranz, etc.) in some places but completely fictionalised people for others—the Apollo 10 crew is entirely different from reality, and Margo Madison is an amalgamation of, I suspect, Poppy Northcutt and Margaret Hamilton.
I could grok this in Chernobyl, where they amalgamated literally dozens of people into the character of Ulana, but these are mostly one-for-one replacements and I find it kinda jarring, as someone with some prior knowledge.
You’ve probably heard this already, but hey, register to vote. It takes five minutes and helps keep our democracy on life support for a bit longer. http://gov.uk/register-to-vote
Registration for postal votes closes at 5pm. Voting in person closes at midnight.
Something for peeps who think the BBC is being biased towards the Tories in their election coverage—in 2015, that is essentially what happened. https://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/may/13/tory-officials-threatened-bbc-miliband-tom-baldwin-licence-fee
Also even though this is a constituency where a remain alliance has been made and some parties are refusing to stand as a result, no marketing I’ve gotten so far actually states that.
Friendly neighbourhood robotic bat. Also web developer. Hugs/smooches @may.
