I occasionally add and remove songs from a Spotify playlist of stuff I'm digging right now and hey you might like it too. open.spotify.com/playlist/61OQ

I just had two consecutive television adverts that both used airy female vocalists covering the song Pure Imagination. Jeez, marketing.

They're making a live action/CGI hybrid Rugrats movie...?

But why????

London trip overview:
* Hostel was well located, very tall.
* The weather gods are assholes.
* Hamilton is a very good musical.
* Leicester Square is a circle and I hate this.
* @BlackRosettes@snouts.online fed me some frickin' good ramen.
* Ow, my feet.
* Ow, my wallet.

It’s circular. 0/10 (@ Leicester Square in London, Greater London) swarmapp.com/c/azpKk8TT13M

I’m in London watching that there Hamilton musical and it’s pretty bloody good, innit?

I personally was always well into Farfetch'd (hell, might be my favourite non-bat Pokémon) so I'm quite happy that they made another one.

Steven Universe: The Movie spoilers, complaining, pondering

One thing that I've just not really grokked about the movie is how they get Pearl's memories back. Like, most people seem to think that Greg fusing is analogous to Rose dying, but eeeehhhh...

Greg not being present for like three minutes is not the same thing as death. Pearl wasn’t in love with Greg like she was with Rose. Reset Pearl knows what fusion is. It doesn’t add up to me that this one event alone would somehow constitute every significant point of her past and bring back her memories.

Personally I’d like to have seen Mystery Girl make an appearance at the gig. Pearl remembers her infatuation (maybe still even has the phone number in her gem), Mystery Girl inspires her to calm down, loosen up a little, maybe break some rules. Pearl gets to re-experience love and rebellion before maybe experiencing loss by some other fashion.

I probably played Sim City 3000 and Sim City 4 for hundreds or thousands of hours back in the day but I just can’t seem to get that into them nowadays. I’m too used to having splines and nice things nowadays.

“Everybody loves Frogger.” is a hella presumptuous opening line.

UK politics

The government response to anything Brexit related sounds like a chanting cult at this point.

Not to say Boris Johnson is a liar or anything, but just after becoming PM he made it incredibly, absolutely clear that he didn’t want to have an election before the end of October.

Except now he does, apparently.

We all know that Google (with Chrome-ium) has at least close to 90% of the browser marketshare on the internet.

Which is your primary browser on your computer?

Remember that Brave, Opera and Edge are Chromium derivatives. I consider Safari to be separate since it's Webkit and not Blink.

Retoot this to get more votes in.

There's never been a better time to be interested in British parliamentary process, because we keep getting into another "this hasn't happened in 300 years" or "this can only happen because of an obscure constitutional loophole" scenario at least once week.

Weird how the government argues having a second referendum on Brexit is undemocratic… and that NOT having a general election before Brexit would also be undemocratic.

I’m not sure they know what democracy is at this point.

These'll be the Tories having the whip withdrawn if Johnson follows through on his threat. Some big names here.

No deal blocked. Sanity prevails, for maybe the first time in three years.
