@Nine @noiob @jk WiFi is a type of light you can't see. Some objects have "colours" that soak it in or reflect it, just like how some things look shiny or Matte and/or dark to the eye

@jk 5ghz gets absorbed and reflected a lot easier so it's harder to actually use in other rooms

Disco Elysium spoilers

@body@mastodon.social almost certainly intentional

@Fenreliania America seems as different as it does mostly due to mass brainwashing and it being a combination of several discrete european imperial powers rather than just one

@Fenreliania variants of Weetbix (Weetabix) exist in the UK and Milo is a brand in the UK and US and I'm pretty sure I've seen it in Europe too.
I think the brands-as-identity thing might just be the way that imperialist colonies naturally work, as apposed to something that's Australia specific. There's not a lot else to work with under capitalism when you don't have a particularly long history away from the country(s) of origin.

@body@mastodon.social also they thought they were god, effectively

@body@mastodon.social The forerunners were pretty horribly fascist, I think they were mostly worried about none of their colonies having rights. Have to blast those protestors with horizon-spanning robot EMP cops

@body@mastodon.social in the halo universe, the Forerunners would make backup copies of prisoners of war before killing them, then torture their minds to pieces over the course of thousands of years. Particularly accomplished enemies were repurposed into AI, one of which probably intentionally caused their extinction. Another one is the shrill orb from halo 1

@body@mastodon.social magicaCSG seems neat also despite not even being in beta

@body@mastodon.social I can help, I've been using it for way too long
