If people are really so hung up on the phrasing "you're allowed" when it comes to reminders of things they already know -- as distinct from things they don't -- and expect me to keep track of who's already had what revelations, then I don't know what the fuck.

Tried to suggest somebody having a shit time on birbhell maybe not go to birbhell. Moderator said "there's no safe space on the internet" Tried to reframe it as a choice about safer spaces, got told I was making unfair assumptions. Tried to apologize for causing hurt, got ignored. Tried to clarify, got blown off. Tried to apologize for miscommunication, got told "that's not a real apology." Said I didn't think there was more I could offer, got accused of gaslighting the moderator.

anyone here actually read ebooks?
i run a lit mag and i'm trying to determine if it's worth the significant extra effort to put epub & kindle out there.
they barely sell. i do much better with the print editions. i'm just not sure if the audience is small but loyal, or if digital feels like a bonus addon that people take but never actually read.
please give me your insights!!! i need perspective outside my own. :)

Achievement Unlocked: Suffering For Art (take a self-inflicted wound during a scene)
The recipe said "heat the pan in a 425F oven," so I did. Then I set it on a slightly warped baking sheet so I wouldn't scorch my dirty butcher block. The pan spun on the warped metal, and I reflexively blocked the handle.
I rinsed it, took ibuprofen and CBD. Waiting for @emanate to return with lido-free topical gel.
